And best of all, the space is in none other than the famous Road 9 in Maadi.
Any free-lancer or self-employed person knows this struggle. To an onlooker, you look like you're wasting time on Facebook or pulling a Carrie Bradshaw, while in reality you could be on the way to solving word hunger. Or something like that. In any case, we need space away from the chaos that is life. Not in any rebellious kind of way, but in the I-can’t-hear-my-thoughts-leave-me-alone-so-I-can-do-productive-stuff kind of way. And boy is it sometimes hard to hear your thoughts in this vibrant city, so gems like the Road9 Coworking Space located in (take a wild guess) Maadi’s famous Road 9 are rare finds we always get excited about.
But don’t let the name fool you, the space is not only there for working or meeting with your team, but it’s also a place in general where people can read (yes, those exist), do business, and we’re assuming collaborate on making effective strategies when it comes to playing Uno, all in the heart of Maadi, as the Facebook page reads.
The space has many different interior and outdoor spots available for use in general, with something to offer for everyone. But one feature we can’t help noticing is how un-workspace the workspace actually is. It’s designed to feel like a cozy house that will make you feel more at home... if home didn’t have all the distractions like your bed and your fridge, which we know are forces too great to go against, workers of the world.
