Bahrain FinTech Bay Teams Up With Luxembourg’s SES, To Develop The Country’s Space Technology

With intent to develop Bahrain’s space technology landscape, FinTech Bay collaborates with the world’s leading satellite operator, SES. The two parties will join forces to develop the country’s cloud computing, video distribution and communication networks.

Our partnership with SES aims to support this transformation, including Bahrain’s Cloud First Policy, by developing the right space capabilities and infrastructure,” Bahrain FinTech Bay’s CEO, Khalid Saad said in a statement.

Based in Luxembourg, SES is the first to deliver a differentiated and scalable GEO-MEO offering worldwide, with more than 50 satellites in Geostationary Earth Orbit (GEO) and 16 in Medium Earth Orbit (MEO). Bahrain FinTech Bay is the largest FinTech Hub in the Middle East.
