‘Build Your Startup’ for Women: US Embassy-Backed Workshop to Take Place in Cairo

The sessions will introduce skills and knowledge required to establish a startup.

In collaboration with the US Embassy's American Centre in Cairo, Learne Academy is set to host a free workshop aimed at emerging female entrepreneurs at Maadi Library on March 14th and 15th.

‘Build Your Startup for Women’ aims to equip women entering the ecosystem with a solid foundation of skills and knowledge, touching on subjects including 'Business Model Canvas', 'Marketing Planning and Strategy', 'Financial Reports and Cash Management' and 'Supply Chain Principles and Strategy'.

The program will be led by Ahmed Hamidou (Vice President of FMCG Qebaa and Adjunct Professor of Marketing and Management at AUC), Alaa Kotb (Founder and CEO of DotCollars for Business Solutions), Mohamed Rady (Supply Chain Manager at Givaudan) and Fatma Naguib (Head of Feasibility at DMG).

The event comes as part of a series of different free programs aimed at women, with other including everything from branding and marketing, to event management.
