Fenune.me doesn't only offer courses relating to fashion, but courses that extend into a number of other creative fields, too.
COVID-19 and online education have become synonymous during a socially-distanced global pandemic. It has, of course, been a necessity for many, but the pandemic has also, in a more general sense, accelerated the digitialisation of, well, everything.
Egyptian fashion platform, Fustany, has taken the plunge too, launching their newest venture, Fenun.me, a new edtech platform that houses all manner of creative courses, ranging from fashion design and styling, to painting and photography.
Not only are the topics interesting and engaging but they are taught by some of the top industry leaders in their respective fields. Names such as Abdallah Sabry (‘Portrait Photography’ Course) who has worked on shoots for brands such as Misr Italia and celebrities like Hana El Zahed, or Clair Seffen (‘How to Build Your Own Fashion Brand’ Course) who has worked in the fashion industry for 20 years with brands such as Bloomingdale’s Dubai, Burberry, Balenciaga and Jimmy Cho. Not only are you learning from the comfort of your house, but you are getting access to the best instructors and their years of industry insight. There are currently a total of five courses available, which also include 'Fashion Design' by young Egyptian designer, Amna El Shandaweely, and 'Painting and Drawing' with Hala El Sharouny, as well as 'Fashion Styling' by Fustany founder, Amira Azzouz.
The courses offer both practical and theoretical approaches and include pre-recorded videos, presentations, assignments, quizzes and certifications upon completion. Virtual attendees can take the class at their own pace, from anywhere with no requirements. This is just the start of what Fenun has planned; they are working on getting other industry leaders to develop new courses and those are on track to be released by the new year.
