MENA-Serving SaaS Startup adam.ai to Expand Reach After Pre-Seed Raise
The startup experienced tenfold growth in 2020, and will channel new funds to expanding its reach and developing its technology.
US-based adam.ai, a meetings management software-as-a-service (Saas) startup which operates in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), has received undisclosed funding in a pre-Seed round led by Atlassian Ventures, a global leader in providing collaboration and productivity software.
The new investment will go towards developing the startup’s platform and technology and expanding its reach, accelerating its endeavour to enhance work-related communications and productivity.
Launched in 2019, adam.ai offers a comprehensive meeting management platform that manages everything from scheduling and conducting meetings, to post-meeting follow ups. Utilising meeting intelligence and being fully integrated with a variety of tools, the startup gives organisations the ability to leverage meeting content and shape strategic decisions accordingly.
With the COVID-19 pandemic fueling the need for remote collaboration, adam.ai saw its user base grow tenfold in 2020.
Chris Hecht, Head of Corporate Development at Atlassian, said that the investment “goes beyond just taking a financial stake. Adam.ai will have access to leaders from Atlassian's ecosystem, product, and business teams who are equally vested in adam.ai’s success.”
