Miami-Based Aleph Holding Acquires 86% Stake in Egypt’s Connect Ads
Extending its presence to MENA, Aleph Holding - a digital media agency - is on track to generate $1 billion in sales during 2021.
Miami-based digital media company, Aleph Holding, has acquired an 86% stake in Egypt-based advertising platform, Connect Ads. News of the acquisition came just two days after Aleph raised $470 million from private equity firm CVC.
Aleph is a global partner for some of the biggest digital platforms in the world, including social media giants Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and Twitter, providing them with access to new under-served markets.
With the acquisition, Miami’s Aleph extends its presence to the MENA region, adding to the USA, Latin America, Europe, and Asia, increasing its presence to over 90 worldwide markets. In a statement, Aleph said that it is on track to generate $1 billion in sales in 2021.
Since 2001, Connect Ads has helped large-scale technology companies develop their digital advertising business in the MENA, offering them advertising operations, monetisation strategies, programmatic advertising, performance advertising, media planning and buying, and strategy and consultancy.
Gastón Taratuta, founder & CEO of Aleph Holding, said “there is huge value in expanding throughout MENA, both to serve our current partners and clients and to expand on existing relationships in other parts of the world. We have been following Connect Ads’ growth and geographical expansion over the last five years and I am excited to welcome them to the Aleph family and we will work together with Connect Ads and A15 to make this a successful partnership.”
