UAE-Based Fashion Startup Mr. Draper Unveils Two New Services
The startup has also taken the step to finally offer its services in Arabic.
UAE-based fashion startup Mr. Draper has recently unveiled two new services which will allow consumers to engage with the startup’s tailoring and shopping services more flexibly. One of these services is the “tailoring solution,” which consumers can use to make appointments online, schedule home visits, and order personalised clothing.
The other service, the “basics online shop,” is an online shop where consumers can find all the essentials such as socks, underwear and grooming products on Mr. Draper’s website. The startup has also relaunched their services in Arabic on mobiles and websites.
“The launch of the Arabic language option was a natural next step as we have the Arab consumer that prefers to communicate in their native tongue and we needed to make the service accessible to them,” said Mahmoud Gao, Founder of Mr. Draper. “Expansion into the Saudi Arabia market is also in the pipeline, and so, not ‘Arabizing’ our offering would be a recipe for failure.”
Mr. Draper is currently promoting a new offer in which consumers can buy complete outfits on instalments over 2 to 3 months, in partnership with Tabby, a FinTech company specialising Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) solutions in the GCC region.
