The peer-to-peer platform is poised to take advantage of KSA’s continued focus on entertainment and arts.
UAE-based P2P talent booking platform, Soul Artists, has announced its intent to expand into KSA after raising $350K in bridge funding. Led by Falak Investment Hub and Wasel, the investment positions the startup to take advantage of KSA's focus on promoting entertainment and leisure as part of the Saudi Vision 2030.
Co-founded by brothers Suhail and Zaid Khoury, Soul Artists allows users to book musicians and entertainers and is able to make connections in real-time. The platform also acts as a kind of shop window for entertainers, who can create a profile for free and are then provided with a dedicated talent management team. The featured artist page offers more free exposure, while the platform also offers easy-to-access portfolios and even payment protection.
In addition to its expansion into KSA, Soul Artists also intends to develop its tech and scale the service in order to on-board more musicians and entertainers from across the region.
