The MENA-wide female-fronted innovative translation solutions startup ends the year with a digital bang.
The UAE-headquarted Tarjama, the leading provider for content creation and translation services in the MENA region, as they conclude the year by upgrading their capabilities to offer a complete digital experience to language services seekers. After raising $5 million in Series A funding, Tarjama’s team has been working on providing clients with a technology-driven, automated and accelerated user-experience. Clients can now request on-demand translation, content creation and transcription services faster and easier, with flexible turnaround times and at competitive rates, from a network of over 17,000 subject-matter experts.
Established in 2008 by Nour Alhassan, Tarjama is a certified translation startup with major presence in eight countries in the region, including UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan and the United States. The startup also owns and runs Ureed, an online marketplace for content and translation services that bridges the gap between businesses and individuals seeking such services.
Thanks to the newly developed platform, clients can now get instant quotes, order, manage and pay for their content requests online. The whole process is seamless, allowing customers to request translation and language projects and upload files directly to the platform within minutes. The startup’s freshly renewed platform also provides clients with an online dashboard where they can fully monitor the progress of their requests in one place.
The platform also offers its users a more optimised and user-friendly experience. Upon placing any request, users can specify their preferred delivery time, depending on whether they have a ‘rushed’, ‘accelerated’ or ‘flexible’ schedule. Users are also guaranteed a personalised experience thanks to the newly introduced ‘chatbot’ service, which gives users the option to chat with an interactive bot or schedule a meeting with one of Tarjama’s account managers if needed.
Amongst the platform’s newest features focusing on AI and machine-learning, Tarjama.com now features a new service-line on the website called “AI Services”, dedicated to providing customers with a number of data creation tools and solutions for their businesses. Additionally, Tarjama will also launch a content-rich “Blog” section, to which clients can subscribe and receive the latest updates and stories on industry-related topics such as Translation, Language Technology, Content Creation along with other relevant topics to their niche.
Overall, the fully-fledged digitised process aims to deliver fast content, brighter ideas and bigger success for all businesses wherever they operate around the world.
