US-Based Replit Acquires Egypt'sAtta to Add AI Business Analysis

US-based AI platform Replit has acquired Atta, an Egypt-founded, AI-powered business analysis workspace, with co-founders Omar Shaik and Amine Ben Khalifa joining the company.

The first integration is already live inside Replit chat. Users can upload a dataset or connect a data source, then ask Replit Agent to investigate a question or generate a visualisation.

The system handles the analysis and selects chart types based on the task, including waterfall charts for revenue changes and heatmaps for retention patterns. Replit says the feature is intended to let business teams explore company data without writing SQL or relying on separate analytics workflows.

Atta was built around the same idea, combining AI with tools for tracking KPI changes, modelling revenue scenarios and examining pricing or retention.

The acquisition expands Replit beyond software creation into business analysis, bringing coding, data interpretation and visualisation into the same workspace.

For now, the rollout centres on interactive analysis and charting inside Replit chat. The company says its longer-term aim is to make analysis part of a recurring workflow that can feed into presentations, internal tools and operational decisions.
