The partnership would provide startups with access to Magnitt's directory.
MAGNiTT, one of the region’s esteemed startup platforms, signed a partnership agreement with the Jordanian Entrepreneurship and Innovation Association (JEIA) in aims to support and increase the exposure of Jordanian startups. The partnership was signed in efforts to promote demographical representation of the Jordanian ecosystem and business developments by providing access to Magnitt’s directory of investors for fundraising, as well as offering a discounted pricing for subscriptions.
The agreement was signed with the support of Muthanna Al Gharaybeh, Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Phillip Bahoshy, CEO of Magnitt, and Mohammed al Shaker, Chairman of the Jia Association, during the first Digital Orient Forum. The forum was joined by government and private sector representatives from Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq, with industry executives from international and regional business and investors.
The agreement is a unique opportunity to help Mashreq economies face many of the social and economic struggles by establishing an entrepreneur driven association who has an active role in the government’s strive to enact change, while highlighting the opportunities that nurture entrepreneurship in the region.
