Riseup’s Brand New Programme Takes Egyptian Startups on a Berlin Tour

Continuing their mission to boost and catalyse entrepreneurship in the Egyptian ecosystem, the Riseup Summit team are now launching ‪#‎RiseUpExplore, a special program designed to take some of the region's best startups to the world’s biggest events to provide them with access to global networks.

Kicking off their first adventure next week, the team will take eight prominent and promising Egyptian startups to Berlin’s Tech Open Air 2016. The first batch of ‘explorers’, as they call them, are some of the masterminds behind Egypt´s finest startups: Elmenus, Fustany, CairoSitters, Elwafeyat, Giraffics, Travel Bucket, SquashApp, and Elves app.

The programme is designed to help startups expand to a new market, meet global investors, and widen their global network to scale and grow, while exposing Egypt’s incredible startup talent in Berlin. Having joined forces with Tech Open Air, Riseup will host a #RiseUpMeetup on July 13^th, as an opportunity to “greet, meet and create” at Betahaus, Berlin.
