SPARK and Integrated Dawiyat to Advance Industry 4.0 Technology
King Salman Energy Park are looking to integrate cutting-edge Industry 4.0 technologies and innovations into their city through their continued cooperation with Integrated Dawiyat.
King Salman Energy Park (SPARK) in Saudi Arabia and Integrated Dawiyat have entered into a strategic partnership to develop and integrate smart city technologies, including the Internet of Things (IoT), to kickstart a technological revolution towards Industry 4.0 within SPARK.
“One of our key value propositions at SPARK is to provide our investors with a connected, world-class infrastructure built on pioneering innovation and technology to serve as a catalyst that will create sustained growth,” said President and CEO of SPARK Saif Al-Qahtani. “Our strategic partnership with Dawiyat is a stepping stone toward achieving our vision and mission, delivering our promise to investors, and reaffirming our commitment in being the best-in-class energy-centric ecosystem.”
Through the integration of cutting-edge Industry 4.0 technologies and innovations, SPARK hopes to keep ahead of itself in terms of its advanced infrastructure, and serve as a leading energy-centric ecosystem in the world. It is the first industrial city worldwide to earn a silver LEED certification.
SPARK and Dawiyat previously agreed to cooperate in February 2020 to establish the city’s state-of-the-art infrastructure, by having Dawiyat implement telecommunications technology and smart solutions like fibre optics networks and telecom towers.
