4 Days Left to Apply to Ideas4Action

The competition, a joint programme of the World Bank and the Zicklin Center for Business Ethics Research at the Wharton School, centers around sustainable development.

Middle Eastern startups focused on the Sustainable Development Goals have got a hell of a chance this week, as Ideas for Action - a joint programme of the World Bank and the Zicklin Center for Business Ethics Research at the Wharton School - is accepting applications until February 28th.

Up for grabs is the chance to present your ideas during the IMF & World Bank Annual Meetings, receive support from a dedicated startup accelerator at the Wharton School, and benefit from unique networking opportunities with other young leaders as well as some of the most senior decision-makers in international development, academia, and the private sector.
 
Who can apply? The competition is open to students and young professionals between the ages of 18-35 years from around the world, and are invited participate in teams, which must consist of two to six members, which can belong to different schools, institutions, companies, countries, or nationalities. 

The finalists will be announced in early April, and the final winners, on May 31, 2018. You can submit your proposal in Arabic, English, or French. If you are applying from Egypt, add “.EG” to the file’s name before submission.
