After the 12thyear-long run of the Arab Startup Competition, MIT Enterprise Forum announces the latest edition of their esteemed competition programme under the theme: “Lead for a Better World.” Registration for the competition has been running since September and will continue until the 10thof December.

Throughout the years, MITEF Arab Startup Competition has evolved into an annual event that is anticipated by thousands of young Arab entrepreneurs who view it as a platform that enables them to showcase, test and develop their creative ideas. Each year, the competition establishes three tracks: The Ideas track, the Startup track, and the Social Entrepreneurship track, with a total cash equity-free prize of $160,000. The teams that move forward for the semi-finals will participate in a preparatory bootcamp which includes workshops, training, mentoring and coaching sessions.

“The Arab Startup Competition has grown to not only represent a platform from which Arab entrepreneurs showcase their businesses, but also one which allows the exchange of world-changing ideas and impactful innovations. I have no doubt that year’s applicants will be bring groundbreaking ideas to the competition,” says MITEF’s Chairperson Hala Fadel.

The MITEF Arab Startup Competition will wrap up the competition with a conference and final award ceremony organised in April 2020 where the winners will be revealed.
