Propeller Launches San Francisco Residency for MENA Tech Builders
Kernel Camp is an eight-week programme which will host early-stage MENA founders in San Francisco in April–May 2026, offering product support, mentorship and access to Silicon Valley networks.
Venture capital firm Propeller is launching Kernel Camp, an eight-week deep-tech residency for early-stage founders from the MENA region working on AI infrastructure and foundational software. The first edition will run in San Francisco in April and May of 2026, placing a small cohort of technical teams directly within the Bay Area’s AI and infrastructure community.
The programme is open to founders building demo-ready products who are working full-time and showing early traction. Participants will spend the residency developing their technology, testing product assumptions, and building relationships with engineers, operators and investors active in AI infrastructure. Housing and programme costs are fully covered by Propeller.
Kernel Camp combines structured workshops with weekly sessions led by industry practitioners, alongside one-to-one office hours and visits to technology companies and venture firms. The residency concludes with a demo day for Propeller’s Silicon Valley network, giving founders a platform to share their work and connect with potential partners.
The initiative follows Propeller’s recent launch of Fund III, a $50 million fund focused on AI infrastructure, developer tools and deep software across MENA and the United States. Applications are now open through Propeller's website.
