The Jordan Gaming Summit Is Scouting for the MENA's Top Game Developers
The International Mobile Gaming Awards (IMGA) will be celebrating the winning mobile games in France. Applications close on July 30th.
Jordan Gaming Summit is looking for game developers based in the Middle East and North Africa to submit games that must have been released after May 2017, while unpublished games with a working demo can still compete for the Best Upcoming Game Award. Based in France, the International Mobile Gaming Awards (IMGA) will be celebrating the winning mobile games, marking IMGA's 15th year.
The summit is supported by mobile game development and publishing company, Maysalward, and mobile network operator Zain. "We at Zain are honoured to support the third IMGA MENA awards competition and we look forward to seeing local youth participating in the call for entries, and plenty of new ideas and more complex features in the selected finalist games. Moreover, we are proud of our strategic partnership with IMGA which sheds light on the efforts of the region’s designers and developers," says Zain Jordan COO Yousef Abu Mutawe. "IMGA MENA has reserved a unique place for itself on the global mobile gaming map, as we are aiming to support also youth and help them promote their innovative ideas on local and global scales.”
The creativity and freedom of developers in the region is refreshing and therefore has "inspired" IMGA to launch this partnership and give the winners of Jordan Gaming Summit a chance to attend. "Since we have launched the IMGA in the MENA Region, we embarked on a journey of discovery which has already been very fruitful", says IMGA CEO Maarten Noyons.
