Turning Art Into Business At Al-Maqarr, Greek Campus, March 31

In partnership with El-7arefa, "More Of" the new social enterprise, is hosting a workshop to help creative entrepreneurs turn their art into a thriving business. This workshop is tailored for artists who have an idea for a creative business or even just a creative working in the creative industry.

This is an interactive workshop based on experiential learning of what creative entrepreneurship is and how it works; the idea of turning art into business and transforming creative ideas into viable projects. More to that, it will be about the journey of creating the customer journey from craft to product/market fit to appeal to your target customers.

The instructor giving this workshop is Malak El-Masry, who works in the field of art, entrepreneurship, and youth development. She is currently focused on her small business Fantasiam Art Space, founded in 2010 an art-based business focusing on painting murals, teaching arts, supporting young artists, and selling art pieces. El-Masry is a consultant with Ahead of the Curve and a certified Facebook and Instagram for Business trainer; under the initiative of #Shemeansbusiness. She has consulted on projects for Crinel Advertising Agency on internal branding. She has also consulted on a creative community engagement project for Cilantro.
