Egyptian Accelerator Falak Startups is on the Lookout for Entrepreneurs Outside of its Normal Cycles

Opportunities in the time of Corona? Falak Startups has stepped outside of its usual cycles to look for COVID-19 solutions.

In an age when everyone calls themselves an entrepreneur and no two people can agree on a definition of what a startup is, one of Egypt’s most prolific accelerators, Falak Startups, has developed a knack for sniffing out the most innovative startups and entrepreneurs, with over 70 startups and 140 entrepreneurs benefiting from its all-encompassing tutelage.

This week, Falak has sent out a call outside of its usual cycle process and looking to offer opportunities, funding and support for startups that work in healthtech, insuretech, fintech, logistics and 3D printing and remote work and e-learning solutions.

The call comes as a response to the global Coronavirus crisis and, despite startups being some of the first institutions to suffer, there are several opportunities for relevant startups to grow, gain access to the market and, ultimately, contribute to the fight against COVID-19 and the implications of self-isolation, curfews and the general halt that has been caused.
