Saudi-based social publishing platform Qalam has secured an undisclosed investment from Wadi Makkah Ventures.
The startup offers content writers an innovative platform to streamline the8ir content with ease, part of its broader goal to enrich Arabic content in over 30 categories. Qalam differs from traditional blogging platforms with custom built-in features intended to increase engagement.
Wadi Makkah Ventures invests in Saudi Arabian and international startups offering services and technologies pertaining to the Hajj and Umrah sector. It currently operates two branches in the kingdom, Wadi Makkah Knowledge and Wadi Makkah Real Estate Company.
