The Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation in Egypt pairs up with the African Development Bank to sign a grant that will empower the entrepreneurial management system for the “Fekretak Sherketak” initiative. The agreement aims at strengthening the environmental ecosystem of entrepreneurship in Egypt and further providing technical and legal information in addition to business development resources to young investors and entrepreneurs.
According to Sahar Nasr, the Minister of Investment, a new addition to the organisational structure of the Egyptian General Authority of Investment was launched under the name of “Central Administration of Entrepreneurship.”
This initiative was created to embrace sustainability and provide continuous support to entrepreneurs. The minister further explained that all the global statistics have illustrated that small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) provide various employment opportunities for the younger generation, which is the reason why the ministry is backing up such efforts.
