The Middle East's First Fintech Retreat is Taking Place in Egypt's Ain Sokhna

Fintech Galaxy is leaving the lofty skyscrapers of Dubai for the silky sands of Egypt's Ain Sokhna for a retreat that will bring together entrepreneurs, investors and industry experts.

Dubai-based innovation marketplace and crowdsourcing platform, Fintech Galaxy, is hitting the road and heading to Egypt's Red Sea resort town of Ain Sokhna for what has been dubbed as the first fintech retreat in the Middle East, with The Greek Campus on board as an ecosystem partner.

Named FinXForward, the retreat will take place between April 2nd and 4th and will bring together fintech startups, bank representatives and investors from across the region to discuss the topic of innovation in the banking experience.

Some of the notable attendees at the retreat include Mohamed Berro, CEO of Emirates NBD, Wassim Fattouh, Secretary General of the Union of Arab Banks, Mohamed Farag, Deputy Chief Operating Officer of CIB Egypt. Also scheduled to attend is Managing Directing of Fawry Banking & Payment, Mohamed El Sayed Okasha. 

The retreat feeds into Fintech Galaxy's mission to empower fintech entrepreneurs by connecting them to financial institutions, consultants, tech companies, mentors and investors.
