Cairo's Massive Gaming Conference Run Double Jump Kicks Off This Week

The meet-up, an absolute must for hardcore gamers, will also host the international Indie Prize, which will choose one startup to take part of their event Annal Connect.

In the midst of Cairo’s Smart Village, in a campus dotted by geeks strolling in and out every day, a gaming event is gearing up to begin.Kicking off its second edition, Run Double Jump strives to be the MENA’s most ferocious Indie gaming hangout, where seasoned Indie game developers will share their experiences to a crowd of budding game developers eager to take their passion on to the next level.

Touching on topics such as Character creation for games, pro gaming, user acquisition, analytics and growth hacks, the event will be followed by a “serious gaming Hacktahon”, taking off on Friday and Saturday.

This year, the event has also partnered with the biggest international indie showcase, Indie Prize-Casual Connect, The Indie Prize, a scholarship program for up and coming indie to turn into future leaders in the games industry, also counts with an online database called the ‘Developer Showcase,’ and Casual Connect events all over the globe. At Run Double Jump, the Indie Prize will choose one startup to take part of their event Annal Connect. The event will kick off on Thursday at 9 am at the Information Technology Institute (ITI) located in Cairo's Smart Village
