Universal energy access, sustainable mobility and transportation solutions or sustainable agriculture value chains are the order of the day.
As the world continues its attempts to get a grip on the energy challenges we face now and the challenges we'll face in the future. Seedstars and Shell Foundation have teamed up to scour Africa for startups addressing these most pressing of issues.
Supported by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, the Energy, Mobility & Agriculture Innovation Programme is seeking sustainable and scalable tech-powered, early-stage startups, each of which will be provided with the resources, training and potential funding.
Focusing specifically on innovators in the mobility, transportation, energy and agriculture sectors working towards universal energy access, sustainable mobility and transportation solutions or sustainable agriculture value chains.
With applications now open, startups selected for the programme will gain all of the aforementioned benefits via the Seedstars Investment Readiness Programme, which in addition to receiving one-on-one mentoring with industry experts, will also give entrepreneurs the chance to lean on Shell Foundations extensive human and knowledge resources.
