Abu Dhabi Investment Office Participates in American Crypto Startup Securrency’s Series A Round
The startup will leverage the funds to further develop its cutting-edge technology and strengthen its presence in the GCC.
US-based crypto firm and developer of institutional-grade blockchain financial and regulatory technology, Securrency, announced the closing of their Series A funding round of $17.65 million from leading financial services companies and venture firms focused on financial market infrastructure technology. With this fresh capital, Securrency aims to advance its software and platform development, integrate with key strategic partners and other customers to establish its operational structure.

The investment round was led by Wisdom Tree Investments as a strategic investor, with additional participation from Abu Dhabi Investment Office through its Venture Fund, Fujairah Holding’s venture arm, Panthera Capital Investments. Other global venture firms like Monex Group, Strawberry Creek Ventures and RRE Ventures also participated in the round.
