Egyptian Transport-Tech Halan Launches Motorcycle and Tuk-Tuk Ads for Brands
The startup had been working to launch Halan Ads for a few weeks and already has at least three corporate clients.
Cairo-based tuk-tuk and motorcycle ride-hailing startup Halan has launched Halan Ads, an extensive advertisement campaign to enable brands to advertise on their vehicles. The ads are available in the form of small billboards on motorbikes and exterior wraps on tuk-tuks.
Advertisements will provide an additional revenue streams that will also enable drivers to generate extra income for themselves - the more they're on the road, the more money they'll make.
With around 700,000 tuk-tuks in Egypt, the three-wheeled vehicle has become one of the most popular methods of transportations in both rural and urban areas, despite the challenges its facing with regulation and licensing. Halan plans to add technological variations to all dimensions of advertising to make its movable platform trackable, lucrative and engaging. The startup also aims to introduce post-campaign analysis, dashboards and analytical tools for both captains and brands to track ads and their performance.
