Iraqi Food Delivery Startup TipTop Launches Direct Delivery System

’TipTop Jet’ will allow restaurants to manage their orders and track them from their own kitchen to the customer’s doorstep.

Iraq’s food and beverage delivery startup, TipTop, has announced the launch of ’TipTop Jet’, a new service that will be a direct delivery ordering system for restaurants. Through the new tool, restaurants will be able to manage their orders and track them from their own kitchen to the customer’s doorstep. Most importantly, it will allow them to eliminate the cost of delivery fleets and customer service teams.

Based in Turkey, the startup began its operations in Erbil in January 2021. Since then, over 20,000 users have signed up with order numbers increasing 160 percent QoQ in just the second quarter of 2021.

In February, the startup also opened their first Dark Store, a grocery delivery shop, which can deliver customers their orders within 15 to 30 minutes. Very soon, they also plan on expanding into two more cities in Iraq and is currently eyeing seed funding opportunities. "We want TipTop to be the solution to all problems for all restaurants and customers. Investors are welcome to submit their offers to us and we are currently considering some offers from some angel investors and a venture capitalist to boost our speed and expand our services in new cities in Iraq,” said CEO Hasan Alsoud.
