Egypt to Host Region's First Large-Scale AI-Only Summit Feb. 11 & 12
Ai Everything MEA Egypt 2026 will bring global AI firms and startups to Cairo as the region’s first AI-only summit.
Cairo will host Ai Everything MEA Egypt 2026 on February 11th and 12th at the Egypt International Exhibition Center, marking the region’s first large-scale summit dedicated exclusively to artificial intelligence. The event is presented by GITEX Global and hosted by Egypt’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in partnership with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency.
Organisers say more than 350 AI enterprises and startups from over 30 countries are expected to take part, showcasing production-scale AI deployments across sectors including cloud computing, cybersecurity, public services, healthcare, mobility, fintech and digital payments. The summit is positioned as a platform for demonstrating how AI is being applied beyond experimentation, with a focus on real-world use cases and scalable technologies.
The event takes place against the backdrop of growing expectations for AI’s economic impact across Africa. According to SAP’s Africa’s AI Skills Readiness Revealed report, artificial intelligence could contribute up to $1.5 trillion to the continent’s GDP by 2030 if Africa captures 10% of the global AI market. The report also projects the creation of 230 million digital jobs by the end of the decade, while estimating that more than 650 million people will require digital skills training or retraining in the coming years. Africa’s AI market is valued at approximately $4.92 billion by 2025, with more than 2,400 AI-focused companies currently operating across the continent.
Ai Everything MEA Egypt 2026 is expected to bring together technology firms, startups, investors, academics and public-sector leaders, with organisers highlighting participation from global technology companies alongside regional and AI-first firms choosing Cairo to debut solutions tailored to local and regional needs. The summit coincides with continued growth in Egypt’s startup ecosystem, after local startups raised $339 million in the first half of 2025, accounting for 31% of total startup funding across Africa during that period.
