London Business School Calls on MENA Entrepreneurs to Join Competition
London Business School calls on MENA entrepreneurs to submit entries by September 14th for its 2024 Startup Competition.
London Business School (LBS) has officially launched its third annual MENA Startup Competition for 2024, inviting entrepreneurs from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region to participate. This year, the competition specifically seeks startups that embrace cutting-edge technologies and offer sustainable solutions aligned with regional economic priorities.
Organised by LBS’s Entrepreneurship Clubs and sponsored by the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Private Capital (IEPC), the competition also partners with AstroLabs, a Gulf-based business expansion platform, and is supported by Saudi Arabia’s Center of Digital Entrepreneurship (CODE).
The competition offers a unique platform for aspiring startups to connect with local venture capitalists, receive mentorship, and gain access to educational resources. Winners will benefit from exposure, financial support, and the chance to expand their networks within the thriving MENA startup ecosystem.
“Empowering innovation in MENA means unlocking limitless potential,” Jane Khedair, Executive Director of IEPC, tells StartupScene. “Together, through this competition, we can help build a future driven by creativity, resilience, and opportunity.”
Previous winners, such as The Surpluss, a B2B platform for industrial asset exchange, have benefited from significant support and opportunities. This year, participants will have the chance to gain traction, attract investment, and access LBS’s global network.
Applications are open until September 14th, 2024, with virtual semi-finals scheduled for October and final pitches in November.
