Focusing on digital skills and online marketing, the programme will be offered alongside consultation courses through the 'Maharat min Google' platform.

The US Agency for International Development (USAID) and Google are working together to train and mentor Egyptian women and young entrepreneurs with a new programme focused on digital skills and online marketing. The programme uses tailored mentoring alongside consultation courses through Google's 'Maharat min Google' ('Skills from Google'), which is a free, Arabic-language online platform that provides tools and training in digital marketing.

20 women-and-youth-owned startups and 50 business advisors were selected for the pilot phase of the new programme, all of which have previously participated in USAID projects or are part of USAID-established networks, like the Youth Entrepreneurship Network, the Women’s Entrepreneurship Network, and Tiye Angels, Egypt’s first women’s angel investment network.
